August get together of MBG

As usual the MBG met in a spirit of community fellowship and friendship, with the aim of keeping the interests and needs of the area, its residents and visitors, to the forefront.
This get together on August 14th was attended by a group of interested members including two new members, and Chrissie Smith, part owner of Three Anchors.
Discussion ranged over topics from the Anzac centenary plans, stormwater drainage onto the beach, Eyre Park improvements, the esplanade site problem, dog poo on beach and dune paths and a photographic competition.
All these matters have generated action from MBG. In most cases taking the form of letters or contacts to appropriate government bodies and local authorities.
The photographic competition is planned for Dec 2013 to Feb 2014. More details will follow.
