Albany Jetty Pylon Sculptures – official opening

A few showers did not deter those who attended the official opening on Thursday 6th June at Ellen Cove. Local ABC morning presenter Andrew Collins conducted his programme from the gazebo.Some technical hitches curtailed the broadcast but the guests from Albany Surf Club, City of Albany and Middleton Beach Club and local identity John Doust all contributed as well as interested spectators.

The rain held off for the unveiling(s) of the four sculptures and the group enjoyed a festive breakfast with some bottled bubbly to celebrate an event long in the planning . Come down and inspect the sculptures next time you are in the area.
