Middleton Beach/ Emu Point Coastal Protection. Update and Survey

If you are enjoying a stroll on the beach between Ellen Cove and Emu Point over Easter or soon after, you may be asked to complete a 10-15 minute survey discussion, aimed at  a snapshot overview of how people use the coast and beach.

The City of Albany has engaged Louise Duxbury to measure the coastal values of the community. This information will build on the 2010/2011 survey, workshop and plan prepared by Jan Viol. All this useful information will be taken into account.

The current survey is about the coastline itself although the impact of development on adjacent land areas is also an important consideration.

MAKE A NOTE FOR MONDAY MAY 13th. The Friends of Emu Point and Middleton Beach Group, and all interested people have been asked to participate in a follow up get together when survey results, photos and information will be on display. BBQ included!
