A plea from MBG!

The MBG is holding a Future Planning forum, which is tentatively scheduled for Friday 19th November from 9.00am to 1.00pm at Middleton Beach Bowling Club.

But for the event to be a success, we need your help to  find some donations towards the planning forum.
We have received a generous personal donation of $5000.00 towards the style and design planning for MBG precinct – very exciting!

And Frederickstown Progress Association is assisting with venue hire and financial management – thank you!

But we need additional funds ($7000 or so) in order to get the best use of our landscape architect and the workshop,  enable a site analysis and a choice of designs to be prepared before-hand, and to cover post workshop summary that will give a a shared plan for future projects by City of Albany and others.

If you can suggest a corporate donor then let Jane know so a written request can be sent.
Alternatively, if you are keener to contribute to the Public Arts Scultpures project, then that will also be gratefully received – send to FPA as above but specify ‘MBG Scultpures’. Kim Buttfield had a disappointing response to her preliminary application for funds, so we are going to have to be ‘creative’ to make progress there too……
